Myanmar nationals working in Thailand will soon be able to send money back to their home country directly through an ATM for the first time.
According to a Bangkok Post report cited by Myanmar Labour Notes, Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) has signed an agreement with Myanmar’s Kanbawza Bank. This partnership will enable cross-border transfers directly from SCB ATMs.
